India’s leading smartphone brand, Micromax has announced the Canvas Xpress smartphone in its Canvas portfolio. The Canvas Xpress is priced at Rs. 6,999, and will be available exclusively on flipkart.com starting 08 December 2014 across 8200 pin codes in India. It will be available in Electric Blue and Classy Silver color options.
The Canvas Xpress features a 4.5 inch FWVGA display and is driven by a 1.3GHz quad core processor. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and the users will get access to a number of features including voice search, Google Drive, Hangouts for video calls, smart contact prioritization etc.
This smartphone is equipped with the 5MP Auto Focus rear camera and the 0.3MP front camera. It is packed with a 1950 mAh battery and a 1GB RAM, and comes with an expandable memory of up to 32GB.
The Canvas Xpress comes with software features like HotKnot and Smart Wake. With HotKnot, one can transfer data with just a tap. All one needs to do is simply tap the devices’ screen-to-screen or connect the devices through touch to pair them instantly and share images, videos, music and browser URLs. With Smart Wake, users can open their favorite apps through customized gestures and access apps directly from the locked screen.
This smartphone comes pre-loaded with apps such as Hike, Clean Master, BookMyShow, Truecaller, Opera Mini, Yatra, MAd, M!Live, , Games Club, M!Pick, M!Games, Reverie language Solution and pre-loaded games like Grow Away, Marbles and Giga Jump.
Micromax is also offering free data worth 500mb per month for the first 6 months for Aircel customers on their Canvas Xpress.
