Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai Elantra Called India's first performance Luxury Sedan, Hyundai Elantra has European style exterior and sleek design. The car boasts features like Advanced Brake Assist System, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, and Traction Control System. It has independent suspension system, making it intelligent enough to sense the temperature and ensuring athleticism on roads. It also has advanced tubeless tyres.

Design and Interior
The car’s interior has features like RHD controls, Variable Intermittent, Low fuel warning lamp and ear-pleasing music system. It has 60: 40 Split folding rear seats and dual height adjustable driver seat. Rear Centre Armrest and Front Centre Armrest make seating more convenient. Features like Air Quality Control system, Trunk Storage Box, and Luggage Net are available in the car.

The base model offers a four speaker CD/MP3/Aux stereo, front airbags, power windows in the front and manual windows in the rear. The first upgrade brings heated mirrors, AC, power windows all around, heated seats, a six speaker CD/MP3/Aux stereo, wheel mounted cruise control and keyless entry with alarm. The GLS trim comes with additional features like wheel mounted audio controls, and front seat-mounted side-impact.

Variants, Price and Mileage
Price tag of Hyundai Elantra is between Rs. 7 Lakhs to Rs. 9.5 Lakhs.
It is available in three variants - Elantra GT, Elantra GLS, and Elantra CRDi.

Engine
Elantra petrol engine, which has multi-point fuel injection, comes with a state-of-the-art microprocessor for precise fuel delivery, making it more fuel-efficient as well as environment friendly. 2.0L Turbo Intercooled CRDi Diesel engine meets latest EURO III norms regarding performance and handling of a petrol engine with the fuel efficiency of a diesel, delivering 112 ps of power and 25 kgm of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard while a four-speed automatic is optional.

Safety
Hyundai Elantra is equipped with latest safety features such as Electronic Brake Force Distribution System (EBD), Passenger Presence Detector (PPD), Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assistance System (BAS), and Energy Absorbing Collapsible Steering Column.
